To relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God, to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer. If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same respect to this prayer. Friends that pray together, stay together.

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said, or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to

clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for
those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don't believe. I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers, for each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God . . . put every battle in God's hand for Him to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, change the number in the subject box before forwarding the message so people can SEE how many people have done so.
God Bless!!!!!!!!!!!

Just repeat this phrase and see how God moves!!

Lord I love you and I need you, come into my heart, please.

Hi.
<clear my mind so I can hear from you>

I know you mean well my brother but the Holy Spirit does not come to us through our minds. What is born of the flesh is flesh. We must be able to hear Him, the voice of our Shepherd, through our spirit.

Would it not be better and more scriptural to allow the Holy Spirit to pray, "in the spirit" through you as Paul taught how this is done in 1st Corinthians 14-14? Notice how we must worship God in John 4-24.

Love you bro.

In His Love

Hi Norb,
Im not really a fan of that first line in the email either however it is someone elses material so I posted it unedited in its original form.

Clearing your mind is a term that is used usually in context with worship music as you enter the church and clear your mind from the days events.

Had the email said to empty your mind then I would not have posed it but I think there is a difference between clearing your mind and thoughts and emptying them. We as Christians are defiantly not mindless.

God Bless you,
David

HI David............are you around Delphi much?

I was wondering because I'm leaving for a week and wondered if you'd have time to babysit my forum.

I'll check back in the morning.

No worries if you don't have time.

Amy

Hi David,

My husband says I should be able to check in on things during the week with his laptop. Since I waited til the last minute and didn't warn you...it'll just have to be fine without a babysitter. :)

Hope all is well with you, David.

Amy

Hi David,

As you know Delphi had a major glitch, so I wasn't able to install you as my helper over there! ack. Things look fine, though. [I'm here in my hotel and excited to be able to check in from here! lol]

Hope all is well David.

Major Glitch Id say the forum was down for five days.

Wonder why Delphi has so many problems like this.

Most of the internet seems very stable now days the site that hosts our website seldom has problems anymore but Delphi seems to be getting worse.

Have an excellent vacation.

God Bless you,
David

Five days! Wow! I had no idea! Maybe someone tripped over a cord and knocked a bunch of servers over? lol. I dunno. I haven't been to the host's forum. Maybe someone heard I was going to be gone and felt like Delphi just had to shut down as well. lol. :)

We're heading home in the morning. Thinking of taking a drive out to Mt. St. Helens on the way. eek. :)

lol. I will try to remember to include you [and all of Delphi] in on my next vacation plan! lol Oh wait....we're going out of town for a few days in December----be prepared!! :)

Mt. St. Helens is a very big mountain! lol. We got to see some steam plumes and such.....but no magma, much to the disappointment of my poor husband. lol. [but, I was glad actually--the whole, little side-trip made me nervous! lol] There were thousands of people up there looky-looing, let me tell ya! Traffic was a 'bear!' :)

We finally made it home at 10:30p last night----what a loooooong day! Esp. since my back is out and I was in horrid pain most of the time. I decided though, that it didn't matter so much 'where' I was in pain, so I thought my husband should get to go see his 'mt.' lol. It is very impressive, to say the least. Also impressive are the surrounding areas---all the downed trees, mud-flow 'tracks.' The valley below the mountain looks pretty odd still---moonscape-like. We saw some elk down there, which was great. The visitor centers are terrific--lots of information and one has a showing of a film of the 1980 eruption and aftermath---very awe-some.

My husband says he will hop in the car as soon as he hears there's lava flow. [not me....I'll watch from home on the TV. lol] I think I need to take him to Hawaii---sounds like he needs to see some magma pretty badly. lol.

Have a great day, David.

Amy
